FAQs

• What is the language of instruction?

  We explain to English speakers in English, and to French, Dutch and German speakers who don't speak English in French, Dutch and German respectively.
  
  

• Is it possible to register alone?

  Yes, you can register alone

• Can I register with a partner?

  Yes, you can register with a partner

• Are there any classes on Easter Sunday?

  No, there are no classes on Easter Sunday or on the last two Sundays in December, but private lessons are available for those who wish.

• What is the ratio of men to women in group classes?

  We're very careful about this, we like a balance between men and women for all our couples group classes. If you can enrol, in other words if the system lets you enrol, then the balance still holds.

  If there is a tendency towards imbalance, the system blocks the excess gender to prevent the excess gender from registering. So if you're man or woman and you see that you can't register, just come and check from time to time to see if we can take the gender you belong to again, or send us an e-mail, and once you see that male or female can be registered again, register straight away without waiting for the risk of someone else coming to register.

• If I register today, do I have to start today or this week?

  No, if you register you are not obliged to start the week you have registered for. During the registration process, you will be asked to choose a start date on the calendar, which will then count as your first day.

  So, for example, you could enrol in March and choose September as your start date, and that September date would then count as the first day of your course.

• What level should I choose if I've never danced anything?

  If you've never danced anything before, choose the beginners level.

• What level should I choose if I've danced before?

  If you've danced before, choose the level recommended by your instructor.

  If you're from elsewhere, choose the beginners level or send us an e-mail.

• Are we well looked after during our development?

  Yes, you are well monitored. You receive regular feadback on our academic platform my.dynamodance.com

• Are the courses online or in person?

  Registration is online, which saves time, but the courses are in person.

• How frequently should I attend?

  We recommend attending at least once a week to build and maintain your skills.

• Can I register directly for the intermediate course?

  To enroll in the intermediate course, you need to have followed our beginners' course.

• How many times do I have to pay for the same level?

  With us you don't pay for the level but for the material.
  If you know the difference between your right foot and your left foot, you won't need to repeat a level - our courses are sufficiently structured.
  
  If, in an exceptional situation, the instructor considers that you have to repeat a level, you no longer pay for the lessons you attended, you repeat them free of charge. So with us, you don't pay twice for the same class you have attended. Your last session in our courses should have taken place less than 16 weeks ago, otherwise you are considered to be new.

• If I have to repeat a level because I've been absent?

  Well, you'll have to pay only for the sessions for wich you were absent.

• Why do your lesson covers less than 1 hour?

  This is the time you often have in the classroom, as you often have 5 minutes to get in and 5 minutes to get out. What's more, it's not just the time that counts but the efficiency.

• What is the validity of the courses?

  Our classes are consecutive weekly classes.

  A couple is made up of two people (man and woman) with the same registration.

  I- For salsa, bachata, kizomba, swing dances (5 dances), ballroom dances (5 to 10 dances), and all-dance classes:

  a) For couple registrations:

  • 6 classes are valid for 8 weeks

  • 8 classes are valid for 11 weeks

  • 12 classes are valid for 16 weeks

  • 1 class is valid for 1 week

  • 2 classes are valid for 2 weeks

  • 4 classes are valid for 4 weeks

  b) For individual registrations:

  • 6 classes are valid for 7 weeks

  • 8 classes are valid for 10 weeks

  • 12 classes are valid for 15 weeks

  • 1 class is valid for 1 week

  • 2 classes are valid for 2 weeks

  • 4 classes are valid for 4 weeks

  This difference between individuals and couples is justified by the fact that a couple is made up of two people, and the absence of one does not necessarily mean the absence of the other. They may be able to attend without the other or not, depending on the situation.

  II) For all other classes, for all registrations:

  • Less than 6 classes are valid for the same number of weeks as the number of classes (i.e., 1 class is valid for 1 week, 2 classes for 2 weeks, etc.).

  • 6 or more classes are valid for 7 weeks per block of 6 classes (i.e., 6 classes are valid for 7 weeks, 8 classes for 9 weeks, 12 classes for 14 weeks, etc.).

  III) For private lessons, 1 class is valid on the chosen day.

  More than one class is valid on the agreed-upon class days based on a pre-established calendar.

• If I sign up for ballroom dance, do I have to commit to a full year?

  No, you are not required to commit for the entire year. Although 8 classes are for payment convenience, ballroom dance classes extend over the year, but you are not obligated to attend all year; you can choose to follow 8 classes, or 16 classes, or 24 classes, etc. With us, you are free to continue whenever you want.

  You can also follow for many years if you want.
